ElectionsTech is a static website built around data minimization. We do not operate user accounts, profiles, or behavioral advertising.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-EZSN1SPY0D) to understand, in aggregate, which content is useful and how the site performs — for example page views, referrers, approximate location, and device type. This data is processed by Google in accordance with its own privacy policy. We use it only to improve the site and do not use it for behavioral advertising. Using Google Consent Mode, analytics storage is denied by default — no analytics cookies are set until you accept via the cookie banner, and you can decline at any time.
Cookies and storage
Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar identifiers in your browser to measure usage. Separately, your theme preference (light, dark, or system) is stored locally via localStorage and never leaves your device. You can block or clear these at any time through your browser settings or a content blocker.
Third parties
Outbound links point to third-party websites with their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for the content or policies of external sites.
Compliance
Because the site is static, has no user accounts, and collects only aggregate analytics, obligations under regulations such as GDPR, UK GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive, and CCPA are limited. Aside from Google Analytics, we do not collect personal data.
